He attended Vancouver Film School in 1990, and since then, wrote and directed TESTIMONY: THE FANNY CROSBY STORY, which aired on American cable network TV and won two awards at NRB 2003 and four awards at ICVM.

THE LIFE CYCLE OF THE COAT HANGER, a short film Steve wrote, directed and edited, debuted on the Comedy Network. Another of the short films he wrote, directed and edited, AFTERLIFE TAXI, was a finalist in the 2002 ReelFast 48 hour Film Festival. Two years later, SUPER-ANON won the contest winning Best Film and Best Achievement by an Ensemble. It went on to screen at dozens of festivals and win many awards.

Steve recently wrote, directed and edited the short film THE TICKET and is currently in development on several of his own short and feature film projects. 

On the music front, Steve directed and edited recording artist Bocephus King's latest music video JESUS THE BOOKIE, and composes music for film and video. Steve also composed two of the three music tracks for Super-Anon.

Steve owns Montage Postproduction of Burnaby, Canada, and has edited several award-winning feature-length documentaries, dozens of short-form documentaries, music videos and many other projects. He is currently shooting webisodes for HARD DRIVE 13, an internet action drama.
